A Brief History

A few years ago, Renee and Monica started talking about a television show featuring haunted places that they both loved to watch.  This caused them to question "Do ghosts (or spirits) exist?"  "And why do they linger and/or stay behind?"  These burning questions caused them to search for haunted tours in the Denver area that could give them an explanation.  By luck, the first web site they discovered was Dee and Beaux's "Denver Haunted History" site (which no longer exists).   They signed up to take their Morrison tour and from there a friendship began.  Over the next year and a half, they took the Morrison tour again, the ghost photography class (a couple times), and the Denver tour.  They took the courses/tours multiple times because they learned some new piece of history or paranormal tale each time.

Joel has been interested in the strange and paranormal his entire life, but has never had the opportunity to experience it.  When a friend of his showed him some ghost photographs that were taken in Gettysburg, he wanted to find a location in Denver where he could try to experience the same thing.  He quickly found Dee and Beaux's website and signed up for the ghost photography class.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?), Joel's friend left the Denver area a short time later and he no longer had someone to do investigations with.

Dee and Beaux then introduced Joel to Renee and Monica on the Denver tour and a friendship was born.  Since that time, the three have explored haunted locations around Denver as well as Cimarron, NM and Casper, WY.

When Dee and Beaux left Colorado, they offered the three of us the opportunity to take over the Morrison Tour.  We gladly took over the tour because we had so much fun taking the tour and learning the interesting history of this unique town and its haunted residents.  We hope to pass along the knowledge that we have gained from Dee and Beaux to others.
