Morrison

“Ghosts and Legends Tour”

Only minutes away from downtown Denver, and a stones throw from Red Rocks Park, Morrison is a step back in time for visitors and locals alike. Join your host for a haunted walk through historic Morrison, Colorado. Who has passed through these buildings and whose spirits still remain?

Hear chilling stories about haunted buildings and their inhabitants, including the haunted Cliff House, the Hatchet Lady of Red Rocks and more!!! See paranormal evidence collected over the years, and try to collect your own.

Frightening fun for the entire family!

Tour Length: 2 hours, 1/2 mile of total walking.

Golden

“Murder, Mayhem, and Madness Tour”

Golden, Colorado is known as the home of Coors Brewery and the School of Mines. However, during this haunted history tour, hear tales of the “Wild, wild west” that this town once contained. Tales include lynchings, shootouts, murder, and mayhem. See the park named after an innocent man hanged by a mob, and the location where Golden’s ‘Night of Terror’ took place. Hear what nefarious activities used to take place on top of Golden’s Castle Rock, what paranormal activity may have forced a building to be shortened by one floor, and much more.

Due to the disturbing nature of some content, this tour is recommended for 13 and older.

Tour Length: 2 hours, 1 mile of total walking.

About Us

For over 20 years, Joel Chirhart has been researching the darker side of Colorado’s history, and telling stories on tours and other venues. His focus is the paranormal and dark macabre events of history.

Joel and his award winning tours and stories have been featured in numerous newspaper articles (Westword, Denver Post, Canyon Courier, Golden Transcript).  He has been featured in books including “Weird Colorado,” has spoken on the Peter Boyles radio show, and recently participated in an episode of Travel Channel’s “The Dead Files.”
